٥٨ - أحمد بن محمد بن خالد بن شيرزاد، أبو بكر المعروف بالبوراني، قاضي تكريت. قال النابلسي (¬٢): حدث عن أبي عمار المرُّوذي، ومحمد بن سليمان، وغيرهما. وكان من الأصحاب. روى عنه: ابن مالك القَطِيعي، وسمَّاه أحمد. وروى عنه: ابن المظفر، ومحمد بن يزيد بن مروان وغيرهما، فسميَّاه محمدًا. قال أحمد بن محمد بن الفرج: سمعت القاضي البوراني يقول: لأن أَخِرَّ من السَّماءِ إلى الأرض أحب إليّ من أن أزول عن مذهب أحمد بن حنبل. قال: وسمعته يقول: الحق ما كان المرُّوذي عليه. انتهى. وذكره ابن الجوزي (¬٣) وسماه أحمد، وذكره العليمي (¬٤) وعدَّه في الحنابلة.
