والمنسوب على الظن: الحسين بن عثمان بن أحمد بن عيسى أبو عبد الله اليبرودي. سمع أبا القاسم بن أبي العقب، وأبا عبد الله بن مروان، وأبا عبد الله الحسين بن أحمد بن محمد بن أبي ثابت، وغيرهم. روى عنه أبو علي الأهوازي، وأبو الحسن علي بن الحسين بن صصرى، وأبو القاسم الحنائي، مات في سنة (٤٠١). والحسين بن محمد بن عثمان أبو عبد الله اليبرودي. حدث عن أبي عبد الله محمد بن إبراهيم بن مروان، وأبي القاسم بن أبي العقب.روى عنه علي بن محمد الحنائي، مات بدمشق لثمان خلون من شهر ربيع الأول سنة (٤٠١) (١).
