والمنسوب: أحمد بن عثمان النريزي. حدث عن أحمد بن الهيثم الشعراني، ويحيى بن عمرو بن فضلان التنوخي، حدث عنه أبو الفضل الشيباني، قال: كان حافظا. وأبو تراب عبد الباقي بن يوسف النريزي. المراغي، كان من الأئمة المبرّزين مع زهد وورع، انتقل إلى نيسابور، وولي التدريس والإمامة بمسجد عقيل، روى عن أبي عبد الله المحاملي، وأبي القاسم بن بشران، وغيرهما. روى عنه أبو البركات البغدادي، وأبو منصور الشحّامي، وغيرهما. توفي سنة (٤٩١) (٢).
