والمنسوب: هبة الله بن أبي المحاسن بن أبي بكر الجيلاني، الكوتمي. أبو الحسن، أحد الزّهّاد العبّاد المدققين النظر في الورع والاجتهاد، قدم بغداد وله اثنتا عشرة سنة في سنة (٥١١). مات في جمادى الآخرة سنة (٥٨٣) روى الحديث وسمعه (٢).
