والمنسوب: وثيق بن أحمد بن عثمان بن محمد السّلمي الكفربطناني.حدث عن أبي القاسم بن أبي العقب، روى عنه عليّ بن محمد الحنائي، وكان قد أقام مدة في أبي صالح يتعبّد ومات فيه في شعبان سنة (٤٠٢). والحسين بن علي بن روح ابن عوانة أبو علي الكفربطناني. من شيوخه: قاسم بن عثمان الجوعي، ومحمد بن الوزير الدمشقي، وهشام بن خالد الأزرق، وجماعة سواهم. من تلاميذه: محمد بن سليمان الربعي، وأبو سليمان بن زبر، وجمح بن قاسم، وغيرهم (١).
