والمنسوب: أبو المعالي طغرلشاه محمد بن الحسن بن هاشم الكاشغري، الواعظ. كان فاضلا، سمع الحديث الكثير، وطلب الأدب والتفسير. ومولده سنة (٤٩٠) وتجاوز سنة (٥٥٠) في عمره.وأبو عبد الله الحسين بن علي بن خلف بن جبرائيل ابن الخليل بن صالح بن محمد الألمعي (١)، الكاشغري. كان شيخا فاضلا واعظا، وله تصانيف كثيرة، وغلب على حديثه المناكير. من شيوخه: الحافظ أبا عبد الله محمد بن الصوري، وأبا طالب بن غيلان وغيرهما. من تلاميذه: أبو نصر محمد بن محمود السّرمدي الشجاعي، وغيره. وصنف من الحديث زائدا على مائة وعشرين مصنفا، وتوفي ببغداد سنة (٤٨٤) (٢).
