والمنسوب: أبو محمد الفتح بن سعيد الكاري الموصلي، وليس هو فتح بن محمد بن وشاح الموصلي. كان أبو محمد زاهدا، من أقران بشر الحافي، والسريّ السّقطي، أدرك عيسى بن يونس وامرأته وروى عنه، ومات سنة (٢٢٠). وأبو جعفر محمد بن الحارث الكاري.ذكره أبو زكريا محمد بن الياس الموصلي في كتابه في طبقات أهل الموصل، قال: كان فاضلا كثير الرواية فيما ذُكر لي، حسن العقل والمعرفة، مات بالحدث سنة (٢١٥). وأبو عبد الله الكاري، حدث عن علي بن الحسن القطّان، حدث عنه الحسين بن سعيد بن مهران شيخ لأبي زكريا أيضا المكور آنفا (١).
