والمنسوب: سعيد بن أبي سعيد بن عبد العزيز أبو سعد الجامدي الأصل، والجامدة: من قرى واسط. وسعيد هذا من أهل قيلوية نهر الملك، كان أبوه من الزّهّاد، سكن قيلوية وولد سعيد بها، وكان واعظا صالحا. سمع أبا الفتح عبدالملك بن أبي القاسم الكروخي وغيره، وحدث ببغداد في سنة (٥٩٦) في ربيع الآخر، سمع منه جماعة، ومات سعيد في سنة (٦٠٣) سئل عن مولده فقال: في خامس جمادى الآخرة سنة (٥٦٤) (١).
