والمنسوب: سعيد بن محمد بن شعيب بن أحمد بن نصر الله الأنصاري، الأديب الخطيب بجزيرة قبثور، وغيرها يكنى بأبي عثمان. من شيوخه: أبو الحسن الأنطاكي المقرئ، وأبو زكريا العائذي، وأبو بكر الزبيدي، وغيرهم، سمع من أبي علي البغدادي يسيرا وهو صغير. كان شيخا صالحا من أئمة القرآن، عالما بمعانيه وقراءته، عالما بفنون العربية، متقدّما في ذلك كله، حافظا فهما ثبتا، توفي في حدود سنة (٤٢٠) (٢).
