والمنسوب: الكامل بن أحمد بن يوسف الغفاري القادسي. من أهل قادس سكن إشبيلية، وله رحلة إلى الشرق. من شيوخه: أبو جعفر الداودي، وأبو الحسن القابسي، وأبو بكر بن عبد الرحمن الرادنجي، واللبيدي، روى فيها عنهم، وعن غيرهم. كان من أهل الذكاء، والحفظ والخير.من تلاميذه: أبو خروج، وتوفي بإشبيلية سنة (٤٣٠) (١).
