والمنسوب: أبو إسحاق إبراهيم بن الحسن الفنديني، المعروف بالرازي. من شيوخه: أحمد بن سيّار، وأحمد بن منصور الزيادي. ومحمد بن سليمان بن الحسن بن عمرو بن الحسن بن أبي عمرو الفنديني، أبو الفضل المروزي، كان شيخا فقيها، عالما صالحا قانعا. من شيوخه: الإمام عبد الرحمن الزّاز السرخسي، تفقه عليه، وسمع أبا بكر محمد بن علي بن حامد الشاشي، وأبا القاسم إسماعيل بن محمد بن أحمد الزاهري، وأبا سعد محمد بن الحارث الحارثي. كتب عنه أبو سعد، وكانت ولادته في سادس عشر محرم سنة (٤٩٢) بفندين، ووفاته بها في العشرين من المحرم سنة (٥٤٤) (١).
