    والمنسوب: أحمد بن سليمان الفزّي. من شيوخه: ابن المبارك ونفر سواه. وأبو القاسم أحمد بن ابراهيم بن أحمد بن ابراهيم بن أحمد بن أيوب المقرئ، الفزّي، كان إماما فاضلا كثير العبادة. من شيوخه: أبو بكر محمد بن إسماعيل الثعلبي، وأبو بكر أحمد بن عليّ الشيرازي، وفاطمة بنت عليّ الدّقّاق، وأبو سعد عبد الرحمن بن منصور بن غامش الغازي. قال أبو سعد: كتبت عنه بنيسابور في سنة (٥٣٠) ومات بعد ذلك بسنتين أو ثلاث. وأبو سعيد عبد الرحمن ابن محمد بن حسنك الحاكم الفزّي. رحل إلى العراق والجزيرة. من شيوخه: أبو يعلى الموصلي، وأبو القاسم البغوي، وغيرهما. ولي قضاء ترمذ وغيرها، ومات سنة (٣٣٤) عن (٩٢) سنة (٢).
