والمنسوب: أبو وهب منبّه بن محمد بن أحمد بن المخلص الفرواني، الواعظ، كان زاهدا. من شيوخه: أبو حامد محمد بن أحمد الشجاعي. من تلاميذه: أبو الفتح محمد بن محمد بن إبراهيم القهستاني، وأبو بكر محمد بن الحسن الغزنوي، حدّث عنه بحلب، وغيرهما، توفي في حدود سنة (٥٠٠) (١).
