والمنسوب: أبو الخطاب نصر بن أحمد بن عبد الله بن البطر القارئ، الغربي. سمع أصحاب المحاملي، وعمّر حتى رحل إليه أصحاب الحديث، وانفرد بالرواية عن جماعة، منهم: أبو الحسن بن رزق البزاز، وأبو عبد الله عبد الله بن يحيى البيّع، وغيرهما. من تلاميذه: قاضي المارستان وغيره. مات في سنة (٤٦٤) ومولده سنة (٣٩٧) أو (٣٩٨) وكان ثقة (١).
