    والمنسوب: أبو العباس أحمد بن محمد بن علي بن متّة الطيراني. له رحلة في طلب الحديث، سمع الكثير ولم يحدّث إلا باليسير. من شيوخه: أبو عبيدة عبد الله بن محمد بن الحسن بن زياد الجهرمي. من تلاميذه: أبو بكر بن مردويه. ومحمد بن عبيدالله بن أحمد بن محمد بن أحمد بن يزيد الطيراني. أبو بكر الأنصاري، الشيخ الصالح الثقة، صاحب سنّة وصلابة في الدين، كتب عنه أهل الحديث، وكان كثير الكتابة، أحد الأثبات حسن التصانيف. مات في سنة (٤٢٣) (٣). ممم ١٤٣٤ غير موجود ممم
