والمنسوب: حماد بن شقران بن حماد الإستجي، الطلياطي، أبو محمد، رحل إلى المشرق. من شيوخه: ابن الأعرابي، ومحمد بن الحسين الآجرّي، سمع منهما بمكة، وسمع بمصر وانصرف إلى الأندلس. من تلاميذه: إسماعيل، وابن شمر، وغير واحد، توفي بطليطلة، ودفن بها سنة (٣٥٤) (٢).
