والمنسوب: الحسن بن يوسف بن إسحاق بن سعيد، وقيل: إسحاق بن إبراهيم بن ساسان أبو سعيد الطرميسي، مولى الحسين بن عليّ بن أبي طالب. من شيوخه: هشام بن عمّار، وهلال بن العلاء الرقي، وهلال بن أحمد بن سعر الزجاج. من تلاميذه: أبو محمد عبد الله بن محمد بن عبد الغفار بن ذكوان، وأبو بكر محمد بن مسلم بن محمد بن السّمط، وعبد الوهاب الكلابي. كتب عنه أبو الحسين الرازي، قال: مات سنة (٣٢٣) (٢).
