والمنسوب: خلف بن مروان ابن أميّة بن حيوة المعروف بالصخري. سكن قرطبة، يكنى أبا القاسم، كان من أهل العلم والمعرفة، والعفاف والصيانة، أخذ عن شيوخ قرطبة ورحل إلى المشرق في سنة (٣٧٢) فقضى غرضه وأخذ عن جماعة. قلّده المهدي محمد بن هشام الشوري قرطبة، وكان قبل ذلك استقضاه المظفّر بن عبد الملك بن عامر بطليطلة، ثم استعفى وفارقهم، ومات في بلده في رجب سنة (٤٠١) (٢).
