والمنسوب: أبو العبّاس أحمد بن الحسين بن علي بن الأمير الزرهوني، فقيه مكناسة الزيتون بالعدوة من أرض المغرب، وكذلك أبوه وجده حافظان لمذهب مالك، وكان يوصف بالحفظ والصلاح، قدم الإسكندرية وأقام بها، ولقيه السلفي وكتب عنه، وذكره في معجم السفر، وقال: قرأ عليّ كثيرا من الحديث، وكتب في سنة (٥٣٣) (١).
