والمنسوب: أبو عليّ الحسين بن محمد بن نجيب بن عليّ الروذباري. من تلاميذه: الحاكم، أبو بكر البيهقي، ومات سنة (٤٠٣). وأبو عليّ محمد بن أحمد بن القاسم الروذباري. الصوفي، سكن مصر وله تصانيف حسنة في التصوّف، وكان من أولاد الرؤساء والوزراء، صحب الجنيد، وكان فقيها محدثا، نحويّا وله شعر حسن رقيق، مات سنة (٣٢٣). وروذبار: محلة بهمذان، خرج منها جماعة وافرة من أهل العلم والحديث.
