والمنسوب: أبو محمد عبد الله بن عليّ بن عبد الله بن خلف بن أحمد بن عمر اللخمي، يعرف بالرشاطي، من أهل المريّة.من شيوخه: أبو عليّ الغساني، وأبو علي الصدفي، وله عناية تامة بالحديث ورجاله والتاريخ، وله كتاب حسن سمّاه اقتباس الأنوار من التماس الأزهار، ومولده في جمادى الآخرة سنة (٤٦٦) وتوفي سنة (٥٤٠) (١).
