والمنسوب: محمد بن خالد بن بجيلة الرافقي. كان ينزلها، ويقال: إن محمد بن إسماعيل البخاري روى عن الرافقي هذا في الصحيح، روى عنه عبد الله بن موسى. والرّافِقَةُ: بجوار الرقة بناها المنصور في سنة (١٥٥) على بناء مدينة بغداد، فلما خربت غلب اسم الرقة عليها، وصار اسم المدينة الرقة، وهي من أعمال الجزيرة مدينة كبيرة.
