والمنسوب: عبد الله بن محمد الداوري. من شيوخه: أبو بكر الحسين بن عليّ بن أحمد بن محمد بن عبد الملك بن الزيات. وأبو المعالي الحسن بن عليّ بن الحسن الداوري. له كتاب سماه منهاج العابدين، وكان كبيرا في المذهب فصيحا له شعر مليح، فأخذه من لا يخاف الله ونسبه إلى أبي حامد الغزّالي، فكثر في أيدي الناس لرغبتهم في كلامه، وليس للغزّالي في شيء من تصانيفه شعر، وهذا من أدل الدليل على أنه كتاب من تصنيف غيره، وما حكي في المصنف عن عبد الله بن كرّام فقد أُسقط منه، لئلا يظهر للمتصفح، كتبه في سنة (٤٤٥) بالقدس، قال ذلك السلفي (٢).
