والمنسوب: أبو حفص عمر بن محمد بن المعمر بن أحمد بن يحيى بن حسان بن طبرزد المؤدّب الدّارقزّي.من شيوخه: أخوه أبو البقاء محمد بن محمد بن طبرزد، سمع الكثير بإفادته، وعمّر حتى روى ما سمعه، وطلبه الناس، وحمل إلى دمشق بالقصد إلى السماع عليه، حمله الملك المحسّن أحمد بن الملك الناصر من بغداد فسمع عليه هو وخلق كثير من أهل دمشق، وكان قد انفرد بكثير من الكتب، ولم يكن يعرف شيئا من أبي الحصين ومن أبي المواهب وأبي الحسن الزاغوني وغيرهم وعاد إلى بغداد، وكان مولده في ذي الحجة سنة (٥١٦) ومات في تاسع رجب سنة (٦٠٧) ودفن بباب حرب ببغداد (١).
