والمنسوب: الأديب المقري أبو الطيب طاهر بن محمد بن جعفر بن الخير المخزومي، الخواقندي. من شيوخه: عبد الرحمن ابن خالد بن الوليد، سكن سمرقند.ومن تلاميذه: ابنه محمد بن طاهر، وتوفي في صفر سنة (٥٠١) (١). (٩٠٢) النسبة: الخوجاني، نسبة إلى خُوجانُ: بضم أوله، وبعد الواو جيم، وآخره نون: قصبة كورة (٢) أستوا من نواحي نيسابور، وأهلها يسمونها خبوشان، بالشين، ينسب إليها جماعة وافرة من العلماء.
