والمنسوب: أبو العوجاء سعيد بن سعيد الخلمي، المعروف بسعيدان. من شيوخه: سليمان التيمي. ومن تلاميذه: إبراهيم بن رجاء بن نوح، وجماعة سواه نسبوا إلى هذا المكان. وعثمان بن محمد بن أحمد الخليلي، الخلمي، أبو عمرو إمام فاضل، فقيه مفت مناظر، ولي الخطابة ببلخ، وصار شيخ الإسلام بها. من شيوخه: الإمام أبي بكر محمد بن أحمد بن عليّ القزّاز، تفقّه عليه، وسمع منه الحديث، ومن القاضي أبي سعيد الخليل بن أحمد السجزي، وأبو بكر محمد بن عبد الملك الماسكاني الخطيب، وأبو المظفر منصور بن أحمد بن محمد البسطامي. أجاز لأبي سعد في ذي القعدة سنة (٥٢٩).
