والمنسوب: أبو القاسم عبد الملك بن عبد الله بن داود الحمزي، المغربي، كان فقيها صالحا. من شيوخه: أبو نصر الزّينبي، سمع منه ببغداد، وأبو عليّ التّستري، سمع منه بالبصرة. روى عنه أبو القاسم الدمشقي وقال: توفي سنة (٥٢٧). وسوق حمزة: بلد آخر بالمغرب، وهي مدينة عليها سور ينزلها صنهاجة.
