والمنسوب: يوسف بن إبراهيم بن مرزوق بن حمدان أبو يعقوب الصّهيبي، الحبالي، رحل إلى مرو وتفقه بها. من شيوخه: أبو منصور محمد بن علي بن محمود المروزي، وكان متقشفا. قال الحافظ أبو القاسم: وسمعت منه وكان شافعيّا، بلغني أنه قتل بمرو في سنة (٥٣٠) (١).
