والمنسوب: عبد الرحمن بن محمد بن عبد الرحمن بن أبي الفضل البوشنجي، أبو الفضل الجويباري. من قرية جويبار، ولد في حدود سنة (٤٥٠) كان شيخا صالحا، متميّزا من أهل الخير، صحب أبا المظفر السمعاني، يحضر درسه، وسمع بقراءته أخبرنا محمد عبد الله بن أحمد السمرقندي، سمع منه كتاب شرف أصحاب الحديث لأبي بكرالخطيب، سمع منه أبو سعد السمعاني، ومات بقرية جويبار في ذي الحجة سنة (٥٢٨) (١).
