والمنسوب: محمد بن عيسى بن أبي عثمان بن حياة بن زياد بن عبد الله بن مترب الأموي، الجنجيلي. أبو عبد الله، سكن طليطلة، ولد يوم عرفة سنة (٣٣٤). من شيوخه: أبو ميمون، وابن مدراج، وكان متيقّظا صالحا. هكذا ذكره والذي قبله ابن بشكوال (٣).
