والمنسوب: عبد المنعم بن عمر بن حسان الجلياني. الشاعر، الأديب الطبيب، كان عجيبا في عمل الأشعار التي تقرأ القطعة الواحدة بعدّة قواف، ويستخرج منها الرسائل والكلام الحكميّ مكتوبا في خلال الشعر، وكان يعمل من ذلك دوائر وأشجارا وصورا، سكن دمشق، وكانت معيشته الطب، يجلس باللّبّادين على دكان بعض العطارين. مات بدمشق سنة (٦٠٣) قال عمر بن يوسف القفصي: أنشدني عبد المنعم الجلياني، لنفسه: وهل ثمّ نفس لا تميل إلى الهوى؟ ... محال، ولكن ثمّ عزم على الصبر سلالة هذا الخلق من ظهر واحد ... وللكلّ شرب من قوى ذلك الظهر (٣).
