والمنسوب: أبو الحسن محمد بن خلف بن عمر الجبريني.من شيوخه: أحمد بن الفضل الصائغ. ومن تلاميذه: أبو بكر محمد بن إبراهيم الأصبهاني. وأحمد بن عبد الله بن حمدون بن نصر بن إبراهيم أبو الحسن الرملي المعروف بالجبريني، قدم دمشق وحدث بها. من شيوخه: أبو هاشم محمد بن عبد الأعلى بن عليل الإمام، وأبو الحسن محمد بن بكار بن يزيد السكسكي، الدمشقي، وأبو الفضل العباس بن الفضل بن محمد بن الحسن بن قتيبة، وأبو محمد عبد الله بن أبان بن شداد، وأبو الحسن داود بن أحمد بن مصحح العسقلاني، وأبو بكر محمد بن محمد بن أبي إدريس إمام مسجد حلب. من تلاميذده: عبد الوهاب بن جعفر الميداني، وتمام بن محمد الرازي (١).
