والمنسوب: محمد بن إبراهيم بن الخطاب التّوذي، الورسنيني. كان يسكن ورسنين من قرى سمرقند أيضا، فانتقل منها إلى توذ. من شيوخه: العباس بن الفضل بن يحيى، ومحمد بن غالب، وغيرهما. وابنه أبو الليث نصر بن محمد بن إبراهيم التوذي. كان من فقهاء الحنفيّين المناظرين، توفي بسمرقند. من شيوخه: أبو إبراهيم الترمذي. ومن تلاميذه: محمد بن محمد بن سعيد السمرقندي.وتوذ أيضا: من قرى مرو، أكثر الناس يسمونها توث، بالثاء المثلثة عوض الذال، وقد ذُكر ممن نسب إليها فيما سلف (١).
