والمنسوب: أبو بكر عبد الله بن إبراهيم بن أبي بكر التّفتازاني. إمام فاضل، عالم بالتفسير والقراءات، والمذهب والأصول، حسن الوعظ. من شيوخه: أبو عبد الله إسماعيل بن عبد الغافر الفارسي، ونصر الله الخشنامي، وأبو سعد علي بن عبد الله بن أبي الحسن بن أبي صادق الحيري، سمع منهم بنيسابور، وتفقّه بطوس على أبي حامد الغزّالي، والتفسير على سلمان بن ناصر (٤).(٥٤٧) النسبة: التفليسي، نسبة إلى تِفْلِيس: بفتح أوله ويكسر: بلد بأرمينية الأولى، يقيل: بأرّان، وهي قصبة (١) ناحية جرزان قرب باب الأبواب، وينسب إليها جماعة من أهل العلم.
