والمنسوب: أبو محمد عبد المعطي بن مسافر بن يوسف التاجونسي، الخناعي، ثم القودي. من شيوخه: كان سمع بمصر على أبي إسحاق الموطأ، رواية القعنبي، وصحب الفقيه أبا بكر الحنفي، أصله من ثغر رشيد، وكان حنفيّ المذهب. من تلاميذه: السلفي قال: كان من الصالحين، وسألته عن مولده فقال: سنة (٤٦٠) تخمينا لا يقينا (٢).
