والمنسوب: محمد بن المعمر بن عثمان أبو بكر الطائي، الأرانسي. من ساكني بيت أرانس، من قرى الغوطة.من شيوخه: محمد بن جعفر الراموزي، ومحمد بن إسحاق بن يزيد الصيني، وعاصم بن بشر بن عاصم. من تلاميذه: أبو الحسين الرازي، وعبد الوهاب بن الحسن الكلاني، وأبو الحسن محمد بن زهير بن محمد الكلابي. مات في سنة (٣٢١). ومحمد ابن محمد بن طوق العسعس بن الجريش بن الوزير اليعمري أبو عمرو الأرانسي. من أهل قرية من قرى دمشق يقال لها بيت أرانس. من تلاميذه: أبو الحسين الرازي (١).
