والمنسوب: خلف بن يوسف المقري، البربشتري، أبو القاسم.من شيوخه: أبو عمرو المقري وأجاز له، وكان من أهل القرآن والحديث، والبراعة والفهم، وتوفي في شهر رمضان سنة (٤٥١). ويوسف بن عمر بن أيوب بن زكرياء التجيبي، الثغري، البربشتري، أبو عمرو، وله رحلة. من شيوخه: الحسن بن رشيق، سمع منه بمصر، ومن غيره، وكان يسكن الإسكندرية وبها حدث. وأبو صخر سمع منه بمكة (١).
