والمنسوب: أبو الفتح عبدالرحمن بن محمد بن عليّ بن عثمان الأيغاني، العثماني. من شيوخه: القاضي أبو سعيد محمد بن عليّ بن أبي صالح البغوي الدّبّاس، سمع منه جامع الترمذي، وكان مولده في حدود سنة (٤٧٠) ووفاته في سنة (٥٤٦) أو (٥٤٧). وأبو عمر الفضل بن أحمد بن متويه بن كاكويه الصوفي (٣) الأيغاني.من شيوخه: أبو عامر الحسن ابن محمد بن عليّ القومسي. من تلاميذه: أبو الفتح مسعود بن محمد بن سعيد المسعودي سنة (٥٦١) سمع منه بشاذياخ (١).
