والمنسوب: أبو الحسن عليّ بن محمد الدّهّان الأبرينقي، كان فقيها صالحا. من شيوخه: أبو القاسم عبد الرحمن بن محمد بن أحمد الفوراني، الفقيه وغيره من شيوخ مرو. من تلاميذه: أبو الحسن عليّ بن محمد الشهرستاني بمكة، وكان من أهل الورع والعلم. مات سنة (٥٢٣) (٢).
