Hadith text · Matn
لاَ يَقْبَلُ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى صَلاَةَ رَجُلٍ فِي جَسَدِهِ شَىْءٌ مِنْ خَلُوقٍ
. قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ جَدَّاهُ زَيْدٌ وَزِيَادٌ .
English translation
Al-Rabi' b. Anas, quoting his two grandfathers, said:
We heard Abu Musa say: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Allah does not accept the prayer of a man who has any khaluq (perfume composed of saffron) on his body. Abu Dawud said: His grandfathers were Zaid and Ziyad.
