One night a house in Medina was burnt with its occupants. The Prophet (ﷺ) spoke about them, saying, "This fire is indeed your enemy, so whenever you go to bed, put it out to protect yourselves."

Abu Musa reported that a house was burnt down in Medina during the night over its inhabitants. When their matter was reported to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ), he said; This fire is an enemy of yours. So when you go to sleep, extinguish it.

Abu Musa said, "A house in Madina burned down with its inhabitants during the night. The Prophet, (ﷺ), was informed about that and said, 'Fire is your enemy. When you go to sleep, put out the fires.'"

Abu Musa said that when a house in Medina was burned down during the night over its inhabitants and the Prophet (ﷺ) was told, he said, “This fire is just an enemy to you, so when you go to sleep extinguish it.” (Bukhari and Muslim.)
