It was narrated that 'Abdur-Rahman bin 'Abis said: I heard Ibn ‘Abbas (رضي الله عنه) say:

I went out with the Prophet (ﷺ) on the day of (Eid) ul-Fitr - or al-Adha - and he prayed, then he delivered the khutbah, then he went to the women and exhorted them and reminded them and enjoined them to give charity.
