It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنه) said:

l was present on Eid with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), Abu Bakr, 'Umar and 'Uthman. All of them prayed before the khutbah, with no adhan and no iqamah.
