It was narrated from Sa’d bin Abi Waqqas, from the Prophet (ﷺ)

That he said: “I hope that my ummah will not be impatient before my Lord when they are delayed for half a day." It was said to Sa’d: “How much is half a day?” He said: “Five hundred years.”
