Related Arabic wordings are aligned to this hadith in their recorded order. Highlighting identifies textual additions or omissions only; it does not assign legal, theological or authenticity significance.
Matching ignores vocalisation, punctuation and light alif/ya spelling differences, while the displayed wording preserves the original recorded word forms. Reordered words can appear as an addition and an omission.

On the day of `Arafat, some people who were with me, differed about the fasting of the Prophet (ﷺ) some said that he was fasting while others said that he was not fasting. So I sent a bowl full of milk to him while he was riding his camel, and he drank that milk.
"While the people were with me on the day of `Arafat they differed as to whether the Prophet (ﷺ) was fasting or not; some said that he was fasting while others said that he was not fasting. So, I sent to him a bowl full of milk while he was riding over his camel and he drank it."
Umm al-Fadl (Allah be pleased with her) is reported to have said that some people among the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) were in doubt about fasting on the day of 'Arafa and we were with him on that day. I (Umm al-Fadl) sent him a cup of milk and he was halting at 'Arafa, and he drank that.
Yahya related to me from Malik from Abu'n Nadr, the mawla of Umar ibn Ubaydullah, from Umayr, the mawla of Abdullah ibn Abbas, from Umm al-Fadl bint al-Harith, that she was present when some people were arguing on the day of Arafa about whether the Messenger of Allah, (ﷺ), was fasting or not. Some of them said he was fasting, and some of them said he was not. So she sent a bowl of milk to him while his camel was standing still and he drank.
On the day of 'Arafah some people near her argued whether the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was fasting, some saying that he was, and others saying that he was not. I, therefore, sent him a cup of milk while he was observing the halt at 'Arafah on his camel, and he drank it.
I came to Ibn ‘Abbas (رضي الله عنه) when he was eating pomegranates in Arafah and he narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) broke his fast in ‘Arafah; Ummul-Fadl sent some milk to him and he drank it.
