Mu'adh bin Jabal (RAA) narrated, ‘We went on an expedition to Khaibar along with the Prophet (ﷺ) and we got some sheep (as spoils). Then Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) divided some of them among us and divided the rest with the other war booty,” Related by Abu Dawud on the authority of reasonably reliable men.

وَعَنْ مُعَاذٍ ‏- رضى الله عنه ‏- قَالَ: { غَزَوْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اَللَّهِ ‏- صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏-خَيْبَرَ, فَأَصَبْنَا فِيهَا غَنَمًا , فَقَسَمَ فِينَا رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ ‏- صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏-طَائِفَةً, وَجَعَلَ بَقِيَّتَهَا فِي اَلْمَغْنَمِ" } رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ, وَرِجَالُهُ لَا بَأْسَ بِهِمْ [1]‏ .‏
