Narrated Abu Qatada (RA):

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: "When one of you enters a mosque, he must not sit until he prays two Rak'ah." [Agreed upon].

وَعَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ ‏- رضى الله عنه ‏- قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ ‏- صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏-{ إِذَا دَخَلَ أَحَدُكُمْ اَلْمَسْجِدَ فَلَا يَجْلِسْ حَتَّى يُصَلِّيَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ } مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ .‏ [1]‏
