Riyad as-Salihin, 1749
Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) said:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "If a man calls his wife to his bed and she refuses, and thus he spends the night angry with her, the angels continue cursing her till the morning." <b>[Al-Bukhari and Muslim]</b>.
عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم :
إذا دعا الرجل امرأته إلى فراشه فأبت، فبات غضبان عليها، لعنتها الملائكة حتى تصبح
((متفق عليه)). وفي رواية: حتى: ترجع.

1) A woman should help her husband preserve his religion and wellbeing and should try to please him in what does not involve a sin.<br>
2) A wife’s refusal to come to her husband’s bed is a major sin, given the reported curse associated therewith.
