'Aishah (May Allah be pleased with her) reported:

The Prophet (ﷺ) used to supplicate: "Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min fitnatin-nari, wa 'adhabin-nari, wa min sharril-ghina wal-faqri (O Allah! I seek refuge in You from the trials and the torment of the Fire and from the evils of wealth and poverty)." <b>[Abu Dawud and At- Tirmidhi]</b>.

وعن عائشة رضي الله عنها أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، كان يدعو بهؤلاء الكلمات‏:‏ ‏

‏اللهم إني أعوذ بك من فتنة النار، وعذاب النار، ومن شر الغنى والفقر‏

‏‏.‏ رواه أبو داود والترمذي وقال حديث حسن صحيح وهذا لفظ أبي داود‏.‏
