وعن أبي سعيد الخدري رضي الله عنه أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال:
أوتروا قبل أن تصبحوا
. ((رواه مسلم)).
English translation
Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Perform Witr prayer before dawn." <b>[Muslim]</b>.

<b>Guidance from the Hadiths:</b><br>
1) The time of the Witr prayer extends from the first part of the night to the time of the Fajr prayer.<br>
2) A man should urge his family to perform Qiyām al-Layl and Witr prayer, something the Prophet (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) used to do with ‘Ā’ishah (may Allah be pleased with her).
